Z16 ceramic pads offer superior street brake performance for spirited drivers. Power Stop ceramic pads offer quiet, low dust, vibration free operation while maintaining outstanding pads bite at high termperatures. Z16 pads are 100% non-ferrous to eliminate annoying noise from metal to metal contact between the rotor and pad. The pads are easy on the rotor, and built to OEM specifications, slotted, chamfered and shimmed.


Power Stop Z26 pads use a unique steel-carbon compound to give unprecedented brake torque at extreme temperatures. When your rotors are glowing orange, then you need the fade resistence of Power Stop Extreme pads. Engineered for serious street performance. Power Stop’s Z36 formula offers enormous brake output for your SUV or truck under full load. POWER STOP ROTOR PRODUCTS
Our best selling rotor is engineered to keep your brakes cool. Air flows over and through the drilled holes to effectively dissipate heat and eliminate hot spots. The drilled holes are precision machined in our CNC machining centers. If you have ever experienced pulsating brakes and a shaking streering wheel, then drilled rotors are for you. Warped rotors are caused by excessive heat and the uneven depositon of friction. Power Stop drilled rotors run 200 degrees cooler and prevent warped rotors. Each rotor is treated with a gold zinc dichromate finish to keep that new rotor look. The combinatin of drilles rotors and Power Stop Z series disc pads will provide shorter stopping distance without fade. Power Stop warrants our drilled rotors against cracking for 3 years when purchased with our Z series friction products.


While slotted rotors do not improve brake cooling, they provide a nice cleaning action to wipe away friction debris. Friction dust and gas gets sandwiched between the pad and the rotor, and this can reduce pad bite. Independent tests show that slotted rotors do not improve the brake performance as much as drilled rotors, but they are structurally stronger to handle severe thermal shock. Power Stop recommends our slotted rotors for racing, and heavy duty applications like hauling, towing, and fleet use. The silver zinc dichromate finish is highly resistant to corrosion.   Power Stop Z36 pads hold a high coefficient of friction (Mu) over a wide temperature range even when the rotors are glowing orange at 1200 degrees F. The leading competitive pads show significant brake fade as Mu deteriorates at higher brake temperatures. During a severe highway stop, your rotors can exceed 900 F. Results vary depending on vehicle type.

  Pedel pressure sensitivity is a critical characteristic for friction performance. The pad should hold a relatively constant friction coefficient (Mu) at any pedal pressure. The Power Stop Z series pads are highly resistant to brake fade. Leading competitive pads show lower pad bite at high pedal pressure. Results vary depending on vehicle type.
